The idea this organization had behind the name Aspen is connected to the idea of Aspen trees, the largest living organism on earth. A grove of Aspen trees is all connected to each other underneath the surface through an intricate network of interwoven roots, so they wanted something that kind of showed that connectedness.
Next was branding this Educational Institute with something clean and “educational-looking,” but with a nod to it’s deeper meaning of interconnected trees or twisted roots.
At the time of this post, the project is still underway; here are just some sketches and directions I’m heading down at the moment.
