Every year, those in the church world try to come up with something uniquely Christmas, while avoiding cliché nativity scenes and the colors red and green. The direction given for this campaign was to zoom further out and see the nativity from outer space. Obviously, there’s sterility and coldness in outer space, which lent an extra vibe of warmth to the star ascending over Bethlehem. And the cool thing about this church being in Minnesota is that I used the same idea years later for a place in California. Shhh.
