A Year of Sermon Slides
I’ve been on the communications team at Woodland Hills now for a year. Every week, Greg sends me his sermon outline and I have to create slides for it – you could imagine that my work adds a depth to his sermons not otherwise found in what he’s saying.
Normally, I can’t think of anything too creative. But every once in a while I get something that’s worth putting in my archive folder – either because it’s pretty decent or embarrassingly lame looking.
Here’s a collection of some of those from August ‘08 – July ‘09

It’s fun to see all these together! I think that “The Kingdom Here and Now” and the “Zacheaus” one are my faves. That “Zacchaeus” just has such good colors and has always caught my eye.
You’re just saying that because you’re the one that told me to change the type from white to yellow
This is great… makes me nostalgic like going through a folder of photos on your computer you forgot about
And the running commentary/self-critique is classic.
plus, it’s nice for me to remember the days when I used to be helpful around here!
Hi Trevor,
I really enjoyed your slides. May I ask what programs do/did you use when coming up with the powerpoint slides? Any pointers? This is sort of my hobby (powerpoint) but Im not real artsy inclined. Though I can match colors well etc etc Thank you for your help. Feel free to contact me on my email for mentoring or ideas!! In His Service!
i miss you
